Job Description
Excellent understanding of SAP Materials Management module which includes the following, but not limited
to:
o Purchasing
o Stock Transfer and Inventory Management
o Master Data Management
o Plant/Site Creation
o SAP Pricing Conditions
o LSMW
o Logistics Invoice Verification
o MRP Run – Consumption Based
o Advance knowledge and ability to perform functional analysis and investigation in SAP MM Module.
2) Sales:
Excellent understanding of SAP Materials Management and SAP Sales and Distribution module which
includes the following, but not limited to:
o SD Billing
o MM Inventory Management
o POSDM/POSCAR Technology
o Advance knowledge and ability to perform functional analysis and investigation in SAP MM and SAP SD
Module.
Responsibilities:
• Provides 2nd level support and acts as the primary contact for SAP related Incidents, Problem Records,
and Change Requests in production following the ITIL best
practices. This includes:
Issue analysis, troubleshooting, customization, if any.
Defect resolution
Validation of test results
Unit test documentation
Conducting and attending weekly status calls and ad-hoc issue related meetings.
• Working on SAP Service Requests based on Service Catalogue and ad-hoc business requests.
• Problem Record handling and investigation for permanent resolution.
• Implementation of enhancements, technical fixes, optimizations, involvement in mini projects as part of
Change Requests.
• 24x7 support with on-call for P1 and P2 incidents during out of office hours, weekends and holidays. There
may be technical and business activities that would.
require the SAP Functional team to work on weekends and holidays.
