Job Description :We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our innovative fintech team. As a Manual QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial technology products and services through thorough manual testing processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements, execute test cases, identify and report issues, and verify fixes.Responsibilities :- Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases, scripts, and procedures to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of fintech applications.- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring test coverage aligns with product objectives.- Conduct functional testing to verify that features and functionalities meet specified requirements and perform as expected.- Perform regression testing to ensure that code changes and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects, usability issues, and edge cases that may not be covered by existing test cases.- Document and communicate test results, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders, including detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence.- Work closely with developers to investigate and troubleshoot issues, providing clear and actionable feedback for resolution.- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to provide input on testing efforts, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to overall process enhancements.- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in manual testing and quality assurance, actively seeking opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.- Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role, with a focus on testing web and mobile applications.- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.- Experience creating and executing manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts.- Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.- Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
