Job description

Responsible for creating test materials, including test cases, test scripts, test data, defect management, issue
resolution and production implementation. Responsible for actively participating on assigned project teams
which perform the following project activities: initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing by
increasing the quality of the deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:
Supporting BT in identifying potential barriers to accessibility and suggesting potential solutions
which will be in conformance with accessibility guidelines and laws including but not limited to
W3C WCAG 2.x standards, compliance with the ADA and the Twenty-First Century
Communications and Video Accessibility Act.
Assisting BT in applying accessibility knowledge to the company's digital properties including but
not limited to web applications, mobile applications, and electronic documents.
Supporting BT in managing and maintaining the American Heart Association's Standards
documentation repository.
Assisting in the establishment and implementation of effective accessibility training materials.
Reviewing, writing, and presenting procedure documents according to standard templates.
Facilitating and tracking procedure reviews and updates, including facilitating the migration of
materials to our new SharePoint site.
Defining and meeting key deliverables for assignments and providing updates to management.
Completing assignments in a high quality and timely fashion.
Participating and assisting with meeting facilitation and minutes related to BT assignments.
Identifying ways to assist BT in promoting accessibility through various communication methods.
Supporting the roadmap planning and project intake efforts.

Desired Skills Competencies:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or testing role on projects using a formal
methodology.
Proficient in Accessibility Testing and Manual testing.
Experience with web-based testing browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Safari
Problem solving abilities
Ability to be detail oriented
Awareness or understanding of closed captioning
An interest in issues of accessibility, disability, assistive technology, or universal design
Applicants should be ready to learn on the job and will be supported in developing a robust skill
set in accessibility
Strong problem solving and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure, and the ability to work independently and in small groups is
required

Preferred Skills Competencies:
BA experience would be a plus.
Proficient in defect tracking tools, Azure Dev Ops
Basic skills in SharePoint and Visio
Basic skills in regression and black box testing as well as security and identity management solutions
Language Soft skills:
Proficient in English language (Listening, Speaking, Writing)
Clear communication
Reliable internet connection
