Feature Test Engineer - Vehicle Testing
Department : Feature Verification & Validation (BP49310)
Job Overview UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. Complete Vehicle inside UD Trucks - Technology organization deals is responsible for building/updating test vehicle, Verification, Validation, Certification of fully built vehicles and system. Features, Verification and Validation (FVV) inside CV is looking for test engineer who is purpose driven, analytic and innovative.
Responsibilities And Duties - Plan, execute, verification, validation and certification activities. Report progress and highlight deviation.
- Release engineering report on the performed tests.
- Plan and execute CVA based on the organization need.
- Define, report progress and secure commitment on the feature contracts during reviews.
- Provide design inputs during concept selection
- Define, update test methods according to project feature requirements and legal requirements
- Document learnings and constantly update the test methods if needed
Minimum Qualifications - Engineering degree in Automotive, Mechanical engineering
- 3+ Years hands on experience in Brake, noise, steering, fuel economy, acceleration, and other vehicle level test.
- Excellent knowledge in working with measurement equipment.
- Excellent knowledge in measured data analysis.
- Extensive knowledge on Regulations both ECE and IS.
- Heavy Duty Vehicle license and experience in testing heavy vehicles is preferred.
