HR Director, Delivery Workforce Transformation Lead
Location: Anywhere in India but preferred in Chennai or Bangalore, India
Must be able to come onsite to a Cognizant office 4 days/week
Role Summary
The HR Director, Delivery Workforce Transformation Lead (DWT) role would oversee strategic India HR initiatives, from design and development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior HR leadership. This role would partner with business delivery transformation teams, co-create workforce transformation programs, execute actions, and ensure governance. This role would review and execute improvements to Organizational structure, improve current processes and optimize organizational processes and administrative workflow for efficiency. The role would also focus on being an integrator connecting work streams and making decision processes more effective. Providing strategic support and advisory insights for all important decisions for the HR India Leader.
Role Responsibilities & Qualifications
- 15+ years of Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 5 years in strategic leadership type roles
- Background partnering with business delivery transformation teams and implement workforce transformation projects
- Execute Delivery Workforce Transformation Programs Job Moves, spans and layers, revenue realization, cost of delivery reduction, utilization improvement, globally
- Identify, facilitate and track process improvements
- Effectively manage assigned programs and drive special taskforce to address HR challenges & opportunities.
- Evaluate processes & assess programs for desired impact, effective business outcomes & continuous improvement
- Coordinate execution of EVP programs to elevate employee experience
- Implementation of new HR programs, policies and technological changes
- Influences workforce Transformation initiatives, HR regulations/policies impacting TPG, HR regulations/policies impacting ER, Org Design, Structure and hiring of direct reports
- Provide leadership oversight on delivery org design and restructure, change management & implementation of large-scale HR projects
- Drive operational efficiency and ensure smooth execution of HR Operations with an oversight on the Project Management Office
- Effectively prepare and manage HR Budget and support HR leader in making informed financial decisions for the team
- Ensure team monitors and Control budget to align with approved org budget, generate regular Reports to provide financial updates to HR leader
- Prepare high quality content & resources for Executive meetings, HR Leadership Meetings & HR Team's operations in India
- Research, analyze data and guide the team to prepare reports on HR trends, new HR project suggestions along with current program goals and progress
- Conduct research on HR Trends and Industry best practices to inform strategic decisions
