Design Engineer - Digital Manufacturing Job Location: Pantnagar, Uttarakhand Qualification: Diploma/ BE/ BTech in Mechanical, Production or Automotive Engineering Experience: Diploma (5 to 8 years), B. Tech (2 to 6 years) Domain Skills Should have knowledge of Automobile Industry & its processes. Should have worked on projects in one or more of following areas: 3D Factory Modeling, Process/station simulation & validations, equipment/resource modeling etc., Human Ergonomics study, 3D WIS Creation, Assembly Line Balancing, MOST study, Plant Design & Optimization, Throughput Analysis, Material Flow Planning & Analysis, Logistics System Design, Materials & Inventory management Planning, Software Skills required Mandatory: § CATIA V5 - Part Modeling, Assembly Design § AutoCAD Good communication & presentation skills is must Preferred (One or more of the following): § DELMIA V5/3D Experience - Device Building, Assembly Process Simulation, Human Task Simulation, Human Posture Analysis, Robotics etc. or other similar software tools § DELMIA Process Engineer or other similar software tool § Discrete Event Simulation Software like QUEST, Plant Simulation or other similar software tool § Good Programming Skills (C/C++/VB/.NET/Perl etc.) Job profile · Work on Digital Manufacturing & simulation projects in automotive domain · Interact with customer, understand its requirements and problem areas, · Evaluate existing scenarios and alternate solution concepts using simulation · Facilitate problem solving and collaboration within the team. · Scripting & customizations in various Digital Manufacturing ToolsJob tags
