Job description
The Youth, Music and English Entertainment cluster of Viacom18 is laser-focused on entertaining urban Indian youth across multiple platforms. MTV is an iconic brand which has extended beyond television to JioCinema OTT, consumer products and its sub-brands like Roadies are running successful gym, pub and café franchises too. MTV Beats is the popular choice for Bollywood and Pop music for television audiences across urban Hindi markets. Vh1, Comedy Central and Colors Infinity round up the international content offering bouquet – from music to multi-genre entertainment – for the upscale urban youth. While the YME cluster has a very active and engaged user base on OTT and Social Media platforms, the business has already pivoted towards being future-ready, with digital-first brands like Fully Faltoo and KaanPhod Music. In a nutshell, the YME Cluster is a lean, agile, modular and consumer-focused team creating platform-agnostic content for the Indian youth.
What will you do
- Strategic Marketing Planning : Ideate and prepare end-to-end marketing execution plan based on viewership goals that we want to drive across channels
- Audience Segmentation and Messaging: Work with the in-house insight studio to arrive at demographic segment that the content will appeal to and what kind of messaging we want to deliver through the content
- Innovative Engagement Initiatives: Conceptualize and implement innovative stunts to generate buzz, creating both on-ground and digital experiences aimed at enhancing consumer engagement
- Sponsorship Revenue and Brand Collaboration: Work closely with the Ads-sales and monetization team to drive sponsorship revenue, actively participating in pitches with brands and advertisers
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate seamless collaboration between various teams and external stakeholders, including social media, digital marketing, PR, content acquisition, content creators, talent, digital agencies, and production houses
Who Should Apply
- Candidates with 2-3years of marketing experience in content marketing/advertising/digital marketing, and executing successful marketing campaigns
- Individuals with strong communication skills; experience in coordinating teams and communicating to senior management
- Individuals having strong bias for action and ability to prioritize
- One who has an ability to be a creative story-teller & have the knack to build bite-short format content around content
- Individuals with aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast paced environment
- Individual who is a content critique and is a keen follower of youth content, pop-culture trends, short format content consumer, etc
