Role Description

Sheopal's is seeking a Head of Ecommerce for a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi. The Head of Ecommerce will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's online sales strategy, including website optimization, online marketing initiatives, and identifying new market opportunities. The Head of Ecommerce will also be responsible for managing the company's web analytics, sales, and project management teams, as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

- Oversee the management of our online product catalog, ensuring a seamless, intuitive shopping experience for our customers.

- Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns to drive traffic and conversion.

- Analyze website metrics and user behavior data to identify opportunities for website optimization and enhanced online customer experience.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to e-commerce.

- Manage the e-commerce budget, forecasting, and performance analysis to ensure alignment with business goals.

- Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making within the e-commerce team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a senior e-commerce role, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, web analytics, and user experience best practices.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.

- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and proficiency in using analytics tools to inform decision-making.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

- Innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and driving continuous improvement.
