We are seeking a skilled CAD Jewelry Designer to create stunning and intricate designs for our jewelry collections using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The CAD Jewelry Designer will be responsible for translating creative concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring each piece meets our exacting standards for quality and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of jewelry design principles, and a passion for creating beautiful, wearable art. Responsibilities: Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models of jewelry designs, including rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Collaborate with the design team to develop new concepts and translate them into digital renderings. Refine and iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetic and quality standards. Conduct feasibility assessments to determine the manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of designs. Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to inform design decisions. Maintain an organized library of CAD files and documentation for each design iteration. Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas. Assist with prototype development and testing, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding design standards, intellectual property, and confidentiality. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, or related field. Proven experience working as a CAD Jewelry Designer or similar role in the jewelry industry. Proficiency in CAD software, such as Rhino, Matrix, or Jewel CAD. Strong understanding of jewelry design principles, including gemstone settings, metalwork, and manufacturing techniques. Excellent attention to detail and ability to create intricate designs with precision. Creativity and artistic flair, with the ability to translate abstract concepts into tangible designs. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of gemology and familiarity with precious and semi-precious stones is a plus.
