Job description
Job Purpose:
To track and keep all the concerned in Cement Business updated about new and applicable Environmental Notifications, standards, Guidelines. Tocoordinate Baseline Study (EIA) and Groundwater Studies (CGWA) for all new and expansion projects, ensuring adherence to standard procedures and requirements. To develop and implement system for collecting and analyzing real time data pertaining to environment across all plants. To provide data required by management, highlight deviations, abnormalities, issues for management interventions.
Job Description:
1. To track Environmental Policies, Guidelines, Notifications, Circulars, from statutory and regulatory authorities of Central & State Governments. To analyze and ascertain applicability and impact on our unit(s) and project(s). To communicate the same to relevant stakeholders for action.
2. To witness and monitor collection of baseline primary & secondary data by the consultant for Greenfield & Brownfield Projects as per the standard procedures for preparation of EIA Reports.
3. To support superiors for preparing various presentations in the process of obtaining Environment Clearance.
4. To witness CGWA study for ensuring standard procedures of Central & State Governments are strictly followed. & monitor timely submission of CGWA renewal applications.
5. Environment Compliance: To provide action plan for compliance with the conditions given in the EC.
6. Environment MIS: To develop and implement system for collecting and analyzing real time data pertaining to environment across all plants. To provide data required by management, highlight deviations, abnormalities, issues for management interventions.
