Regional Manager – Ramp Safety shall be responsible to manage ramp safety for respective region with an objective to maintain a Safe, Secure and efficient environment for aircraft, vehicles, personnel and the travelling customers. Role Safety Marshals of the regions will be functionally reporting into Regional Manager Driving safety culture by promoting safe practices and enforcing safety discipline. Achieve Station Performance Indicator (SPI) Targets and Cost control through reduction in number of incidents Streamline and implement laid down processes Co-ordinate with Airport Operator, APMs, Ramp Managers and other verticals to improve compliance and safety standards. Responsibilities Drive a Safety Culture enabling pro-active and timely reporting and documenting of all incidents/accidents. Provide documented timely feedback on best practices and failures that are observed. Conducts monthly safety drives at stations and promote best practices Scheduled checks are carried out at station to check safety compliance Liase with Airport Operator, stations in the region, ifly and ISC for implementation of safety compliance and corrective steps taken. Partner with ISC and cross functional teams among multiple locations and verticals Ideate and innovate safety measures that are in line with Regulatory and Industry standards Implementation of SMS by encouraging staff (including operators and utility hands) to identify and report hazards through various channels like Safety Reporting Boxes, integrum and LSAG meetings. Support APM/Airside Head for closures of hazard with suggested mitigation measure (s) within timelines. Encourage for work compliances with Reward & Recognition for employeesJob tags
