Job Title
Development Engineer Responsibilities
- Ensuring the new equipment design & development starting from concept till production is completed as per standards.
- Upgradation of existing equipment based up on market requirements
- Project planning and execution
- Handle a team of engineers, Leadership skills are vital
- Prototype development, Product testing and certifications
- ISO Documentation
- Vendor Interactions and New Vendor Development including travel to vendors locations
- Work on global I&D projects as and when required including travel to global sites
- Accountable for talent review and performance discussion of the team.
- Conducting regular training program on SOP and regulatory standard update.
- Responsible for setting up and smooth functioning of the team. Reporting
- This position will report to Deputy General Manager- ME- I&D Desired Experience
- 3-8 Years' experience in electro mechanical equipment design with exposure to medical equipment design Desired Skillset
- Expertise in design and development of electro mechanical equipment from concept till production
- High level expertise in any of CAD tools like SOLID WORKS
- Expertise in AUTOCAD
- Expertise in prototype development and testing
- Expertise in project planning and execution
- Ability to handle a team of engineers
- Expertise in Selection of materials and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required
- Expertise in Tolerance stack-up Analysis
- Expertise in GD&T
- Experience in FEA
- Experience in molding/casting preferred
- Experience in Global project environment is preferred Desired Educational Qualification
B Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering
