JOB DESCRIPTION:

A) Duties and Responsibilities :

• Identification of operational trouble & hands on experience of trouble shooting & rectification.
• Awareness of energy management system and take charge for efficient plant operation
• Monitor operations for efficiency and safety ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirement to be followed.
• To carry out safe operation of Boilers, Turbines and plant auxiliary system from DCS and Field to generate the power as per customer demand
• Handling of plant emergencies and coordinate with other departments to increase availability.
• To plan, implement & execute operation of the Boilers & its auxiliaries & other related equipment's in order to achieve target TPP performance through aligning with activities.
• Observing safety / statutory requirements for plant & associated equipment's within budgeted cost & time frame.

Mechanical Engineer with BOE 'desirable
DME:
5-8 Yrs.
BE
3-5 Yrs.
(BOE/NPTI preferred)
Knowledge of operation of CFBC Boiler & Turbines. Independent handling of shift & CCR desk operation.
- Hands on experience of operation of Boiler and Turbine from DCS
- Basic knowledge of Maintenance of Boiler and TGs.
- Knowledge of CHP, WTP and BOP operation.
- Analytical approach
-Communication skill.
B) Goals / KRA to be assigned :
(1) Plant availability.
(2) Uninterrupted power supply with Zero stoppage.
(3) Cater load demand as per customers.
(4) Achieve performance parameters Fuel cost, APC, Heat rate.
(5) Comply requirements of WCM, safety and ISO.
