Key Objective: As part of Utility Scale BD Team, the role will entail creating, owning, and converting firm RE pipeline for the organization. The job profile would include working with external as well as internal stakeholders, generating market interests for specific clean energy profiles, engagement with state and central government agencies, interacting with the Solar and Wind teams for securing project pipeline. The role would require a dynamic individual, who can shift gears on demand, having excellent Techno-commercial analytical skills and be open to work on various strategic initiatives within ReNew.

Brief description of role 1.

RE Regulatory-

Expertise on all regulatory aspects related to business development, project implementation, bidding guidelines, PPAs ·Preconstruction approvals including PPAs and grid connections, ISTS/STU margin availability ·Interact with various statutory bodies including MNRE, SECI, PGCIL, CTU, CEA, MoP, and Industry forums like Assochams, WIPPA ·Policy advocacy keeping in view the company’s interest to govt entities ·Deliver on all Pre-Construction activities including LoAs, PPA negotiations and signing

Review and deliver Power Purchase Agreements: ·Identify credit worthy target counterparties after continuous tracking, conducting diligence and maintaining relationships ·Ensuring compliance with external regulatory and internal corporate policies

RFS review and bid submission ·Track of all the Bid RFS notified by SECI, NTPC, MSEDCL, GUVNL, REMCL and other identified bidding agency ·Review, compile comments on the RFS ·Bid submission and required follow ups with Bidding agency

4.

Commercial a. Prepare detailed investment documents and investment approval requests to aid decision making. b. Prepare opportunity/portfolio level PPTs to support investment decision c. Assist in monitoring of business progress by developing automated intelligent dashboards.

5. Competition Analysis and benchmarking

Profile & Eligible Criteria

He/ She will at least be a B.E/B.tech. with 3-5 years of experience. Should have at least 1 year in power sector across consulting or IPPs or System Integrators Thorough regulatory understanding during life of renewable energy projects in India Excellent solution-seeking, teamwork, leadership and communication skills which extend across all organizational and management levels. Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders. Experience with contracting, legal, and financial analysis would be beneficial.
