Job description
Role : R Shiny Developer. Exp : 6 to 8 years.Location : Bangalore/Chennai(Hybrid). R Shiny Developer skills and qualifications :- Proficient in R programming, especially in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using packages such as dplyr, ggplot2, and shiny.- Experienced in building and deploying Shiny applications using tools such as shinydashboard, shinythemes, shinyjs, shinytest, and shinyapps.- Familiar with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.- Knowledgeable in software engineering principles such as version control, testing, debugging, and documentation.- Able to work independently or in a team, with good communication and problem-solving skills.- Interested in learning new technologies and domains, such as machine learning, bioinformatics and enterprise application development etc.Required Skill Set : - Strong documented experience in R package and R/Shiny apps development in line with industry best practices around documentation, testing, and modularization- Strong working experience with Tidyverse packages and Tidy principleComfort with SQL databases- Knowledge of DevOps, CICD, and GitHub- Good to have experience with TEAL package based Shiny development . - Working experience with CDISC (Clinical Data Standards) data or NCA/Certara Phoenix datasetsTeal experience - Should cover general modules as well as Clinical (Dealing with clinical trial data reporting), and Hermes (For analyzing MultiAssayExperiment objects). - Experience of widget development- Good to have experience in developing reports using TEAL reporter- Being able to understand solution architecture and role of involved software components to implement R Shiny apps- Working knowledge on back-end integration via APIs (REST, JSON over etc.)- Experience with collaborative API design flows- Experience in debugging, testing, and optimizing Shiny applications and then publishing these to the internal company repositoryAbility to embed automatic testing into the development cycle- Experience of using GitHub for version control, branch/merge/PR strategies for R projects- Ability to contribute new ideas and approaches to improve our R packages and applications- Inclination to stay up-to-date with the latest R packages and developments within the pharma industry.- Experience in building or working on Pharmaverse applications (eg. admiral, logrx, metacore, metatools, etc (ref:hirist.tech)
