Job description
The purpose of this job is to manage the company s demand and supply of products and services. In this role, you are responsible for researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications, and negotiating with vendors as needed.
You will work with the Operations team and business managers to understand the key business requirements and ensure that we achieve our goals in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing Procurement, Vendor Management, Price Negotiation & Sourcing of Materials
- Drive the tactical execution of the day-to-day procurement to deliver consistent and sustainable savings.
- Develop and maintain rate cards/rate contracts of frequently used assets (photos/videos/edits etc).
- Responsible for planning, purchasing of Engineering items
- Finding new vendor/vendor development for engineering products
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices, and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectations.
- Developing alternate sources & improving current sources for cost reduction
- Follow-up with vendors for timely delivery of material & reduce rejection.
- Maintaining Stock Level, ensuring no delay or stock out of all engineering items
- Liaison with internal stakeholders for detailed requirement understanding on SLA & other relevant terms.
- Maintain adequate sources of supply/service to ensure that the requirements of the category are met with optimum quality, service, and cost-to-use.
- Generating MIS for Weekly, Monthly and quarterly reports on PO TATs, Savings, Negotiations pipeline & other Business-related requirements.
- Hands-on experience on ERP tools like O365/SAP/Oracle Netsuite.
- Generating error-free PO in a detailed manner.
- Keeps oversight over set of contracts within category and ensures contract compliance considering SLA, payment terms, prices, discounts & rebates, and performance in close collaboration with business.
- Establish & develop relationships with all key stake holders, Suppliers & Internal Customers.
- Ensure compliance with all internal guidelines and external regulations and requirements relating to responsible categories e.g., finance and procurement policies, code of conduct, etc.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills Required.
- Experienced procurement executive with a minimum 2-3 years of experience in the ELV sector.
- Good understanding of ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, FA, PA)
- Good knowledge of sourcing and inventory management, and vendor management methodologies.
- Strong skills in Negotiation, Governance, and process controls
- Strong communication skills, oral and written.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
- Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset
- Excellent Customer Service skills
