Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous inspection, testing, and process improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's continued success in delivering high-quality machined components to our clients.

Responsibilities: Perform thorough inspections of machined components at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Perform quality control inspections and tests on incoming materials and in-process components within the tool room environment. Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to optimize manufacturing processes and minimize defects. Collaborate with tool designers, machinists, and engineers to identify and resolve quality issues during the manufacturing process. Conduct statistical analysis and data interpretation to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices. Interface with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to contractual requirements. Participate in internal and external quality audits, including ISO and customer audits, and assist in implementing audit findings.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years

of proven experience in quality control within a machining manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of machining processes, materials, and industry standards. Proficient in the use of measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, and optical comparators. Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles for interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems for manufacturing processes. ASQ certification (CQE, CQM, or similar) is a plus. Knowledge of quality control methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality issues to stakeholders.
