Position in this function is responsible for solving basic technical problems and for assisting with support requests related to the needs of the organization, meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands. Performs some maintenance work on advanced Server Infrastructure. Responsible for assisting with deployment and implementation and consultative support in a team environment. Exercises basic judgment to solve complex problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administers and supports core Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager. Performs patch management for servers, workstations, and infrastructure devices. Reports status of software pushes and patch management
- Troubleshoots software package deployment. Distributes Desktop Windows images
- Maintains inventory and asset configuration documentation
- Participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Identifies, communicates, and resolves systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. Provides IT and end user training where required
- Proactively monitors and reports system performance and troubleshoots any problems. Performs planned maintenance of Microsoft system environment
- This position contributes to service/project delivery using a Scrum/Agile approach and is expected to: Perform and coordinate routine upgrades and preventative maintenance for the SCCM infrastructure Analyze performance/scalability of the environment
- Provide technical support, system administration, troubleshooting, system security, system integration, group policy management Perform SCCM client health checks and troubleshoot barriers to client health SCCM OSD customizations using MDT and troubleshooting OSD issues
- Analyze SCCM log files, provide monthly patch management support for Windows servers and workstations Develop system architecture documentation and process workflows as requested Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS,) Microsoft Key Management Services (KMS)
- Providing customer support, and timely maintenance and problem resolution of service delivery requests, to include technical customer consultation for needs analysis, assessment, problem resolution and recommendations for computer hardware and software
- Provide in-depth knowledge and technical expertise in the areas of design, installation, maintenance, and support of multiple operating systems and technologies
- Other job-related requirements: Prepare technical briefs and present to management review teams

Required Qualifications:
- Any degree with preferably 6+ years of relevant SCCM administration experience
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience with Package deployment, Distribution Point remediation, OSD (including driver packaging), Patch Management, USMT, Asset Intelligence, Internet-based Client Management
- Technical knowledge and experience using Active Directory and managing Group Policies
- Solid hands-on experience with Orchestrator, Operations Manager and Service Manager. Creating workflows
- Experience with Package deployment, Distribution Point remediation, OSD (including driver packaging), Patch Management, USMT, Asset Intelligence, Internet-based Client Management
- Technical knowledge and experience using Active Directory and managing Group Policies
- Solid hands-on experience with Orchestrator, Operations Manager and Service Manager. Creating workflows
- Hands-on of the Systems Center Configuration Manager 2012. Senior level SCCM Engineer that has recent experience architecting, designing, and delivering SCCM services within a large environment (5K – 35k clients)
- Experience with Package deployment, Distribution Point remediation, OSD (including driver packaging), Patch Management, USMT, Asset Intelligence, Internet-based Client Management
- Solid experience architecting and scripting Operating System Deployments using SCCM (Extremely important to this position)
- Experience operating in a mission critical/ environment
- Experience with Credential Guard and Device Guard Experience managing System Center End Point protection (Windows Defender)
- This position is for an SCCM Engineering resource with solid hands-on experience architecting, designing, and delivering SCCM services within a large complex environment
- Basic knowledge for Active Directory and networking concepts such as TCP/IP and other networking protocols and services: DNS, WINS, DHCP, Routing, MAC
- Proven solid interpersonal skills to communicate with all other IT members, users of system, and clients
- Proven customer service attitude and ability to work with others in a highly collaborative environment
- Proven solid organizational skills, capability to schedule and coordinate multiple activities in results-oriented environment
- Proven initiative and ability to enforce policies and procedures through influence highly available and responsive to occasional after-hours issues, as the business operates on a near 24/7 basis
- Proven self-motivated, solid work ethic and good written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- MCP, MCSE, MCSA, MCIT or any client (desktop/laptop infrastructure) related technical certification
- Solid experience architecting and scripting Operating System Deployments using SCCM Experience in PowerShell scripting
- Experience in PowerShell scripting
