Job Description:
Credit Risk Analyst:
The Credit Risk Analyst plays a crucial role in reviewing and investigating merchant accounts to assess fraud and credit risk exposure. This position involves conducting regular reviews of merchant accounts, determining account credit limits based on customer activity, forecasting potential growth, reviewing processing history, and conducting in-depth risk analysis to ensure the security and profitability of the organization's merchant portfolio.

Responsibilities:
Determine account credit limits by analyzing customer activity, processing history, financial data and business potential.

Regularly reassess and adjust credit limits based on changes in customer activity, industry trends, and risk factors.

Make decisions on required reserve amounts and releases.

Investigating abnormal processing patterns and recommending appropriate actions.

Assessing and evaluating business model risk and exposure by evaluating merchant industry type, processing volume, refunds volume, delivery time frames and disputes.

Collaborate with fraud prevention teams to implement strategies for identifying and mitigating fraud risks.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of relevant work experience is preferred.

Knowledge of payment processing systems and industry regulations.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.

Self-Motivated - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Adaptability.

Highly organized

Problem solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to multitask throughout the workday.

Maintain reliability through attending scheduled shifts.
