Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Scientist at Vardhman Tube Mills located in Mumbai with flexibility for some remote work. The Data Scientist will be responsible for creating and implementing data-driven solutions to improve business processes and drive growth. They will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing data models and algorithms, and creating data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Data Science: Python, SQL, R
• Statistics: Hypothesis testing, Confidence Intervals, Regression models
• Data Analytics: Data wrangling, Preparing data for analysis
• Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib
• Data Analysis: Data exploration and analysis, numpy

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include:

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience working with large and complex data sets
• Comfortable working with databases and statistical software
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• BTech or Master's in computer science, statistics, or a related field
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries
