Role Description

This is an on-site full-time Chief Operating Officer role located in Mumbai. The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for overseeing daily business operations, planning, budgeting, and finance. The Chief Operating Officer will work alongside senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to drive and enhance business growth, efficiencies, and profitability.

• Create a robust governance strategy in line with DBIL risk appetite and growth ambition – Monitor, and ensure compliance to DBIL Policy Standards and Guide
• Work closely with the business managers and credit risk, collections to ensure the timely creation of the annual budgets ( Expense budget, Headcount, Provisioning, etc) and close tracking of the same through periodic reviews.
• Create a robust Business intelligence, MIS, and reporting structure that allows for close monitoring of the asset business and helps in making both tactical and strategic decisions.
• Liaise with various partners like L&C, Audit, Technology, Operations, and Finance as required for the smooth functioning of the Consumer Credit Unit.

Qualifications

• Business Planning, Operations Management, Analytical Skills, and Finance skills
• Experience in Budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial models
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive results and initiatives
• Proven track record of overseeing effective operational strategies that led to business growth and efficiency
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in senior management roles in related industries or fields
