Job Description:
The role of a Flow Simulation Engineer involves defining, developing, and deploying production discrete event simulation models and operation simulations. The key responsibilities include:
Creating, delivering, and standardizing discrete event simulation models for existing and future manufacturing Lines/Plants.
Collaborating with industrial engineers on simulations to balance production rates, understand material flow, determine buffer requirements, and maximize factory throughput.
Creating and defining future processes, exploring improved ways of working.
Analyzing throughput simulation results of the production line, including logistics supply and traffic.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, with 6 to 10 years of experience in discrete event simulation modeling. Preference given to those with hands-on experience in Plant Flow Simulation Tools.
Essential Skills:
Experience in a startup environment and participation in the creation of new processes.
Multicultural work environment experience.
Knowledge of industrialization principles.
Understanding of production management.
Expertise in any plant flow simulation tool.
Desired Skills:
Hands-on experience and ability to work independently with plant flow simulation software.
Experience:
Minimum of 610 years of experience in discrete event simulation modeling. Preference given to individuals with knowledge of Plant Simulation Tools.
Experience/knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Principles and variance analysis.
Strong experience in project management, including multifunctional/multicultural teams.
