Roles & Responsibilities:

• To lead a team of Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors and other professionals with direction, guidance and motivation to ensure successful project delivery.
• Create comprehensive action plans, project timelines and resource allocation plans for construction of the project.
• To set up the construction team, organize manpower, material and machinery.
• To lead the project team to ensure that all phases of the project are completed on schedule and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.
• Interpreting the drawings and get the project executed as per quality and details given by the architect and approved shop drawing.
• Responsible for adopting effective methods and best building practices to achieve timely completion of project.
• Responsible for maintaining safe working environment for staff, workmen, contract labor and all others working at site.
• Responsible for security and safety of the material at site and stores.
• Setting up procedures for quality control.
• Responsible for budget preparation, finalization of BOQs, costing including labor cost.
• Responsible for preparation of BOQ and finalizing costing including cost of labor.
• Responsible for finalizing rates and managing piece rate workers, subcontractors and third party vendors.
• Responsible for approving bills of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Responsible for quantity take off, monthly valuations of subcontractors and supplies.
• Preparing construction schedule, resource schedule, procurement schedule and facilitating cash flow.
• Ensuring preparation of material indents as per the program for import of materials or local purchase and material approval.
• Reports and presentation as required by HOD/Management.
