Associate Director - Business Development
Experience- 10+ Functional Responsibility / Domain Related Experience in Capital Markets - NBFC, Corporates, Wealth Strong Team Management, Pipeline Management, Key Account Management Farming - 40%, Hunting - 60% - team composition Strong Experience in Industry Research, Investment Research, Fixed Income, Risk solutions, Corporate Consulting and in Capital Market § Go To market & develop business to corporates, asset management companies, PEs, AIFs and offshore entities, across allocated geographies o New client acquisition (70%) o Target and pitch to new high value clients/mandates in new segments. o Should be able to independently identify relevant contact points, network and interact at senior management level with clients and prospects o Existing clients (30%) to identify new opportunities and grow wallet share o Senior management interactions § Understanding of corporate strategic initiatives, investment industry, AIFs with regulatory landscape. § Will be responsible for feedback on product verticals and identify trends and new business opportunities in the research space o Coordinate with the analytical/research team to help develop new products and services Process Adherence § Should be responsible for lead generation and maintaining a healthy pipeline. § Presales – Demo, respond to EOIs, RFPs, prepare proposals etc. § Provide inputs for and develop collaterals § Contract negotiation & closing § Billing responsibilities , meetings in Salesforce, manage sales receivables with collection team § Communication to client on franchise elements Skills § Excellent oral and written communication skills § Financial concepts and business analysis § Innovative and solution orientation § Ability to manage performance under stringent timelines Experience and Qualification: Preferably require a candidate with 7 to 8+ yrs experience who has worked on sales / lead generation side / products team Ø Post graduate in Marketing / Finance preferred.
