This position is responsible to execute annual technology planning process cross-functionally and deliver technology roadmap in alignment with new technology trends, change in market and customer needs, competition and TML product pipeline.

1Annual Technology plann
- Plan and execute research to identify focus areas for annual technology planning internally and / or externally,
- Identify global and local technology landscape, changing market and customer needs, competition,
- Identify technology leads and / or problems statements from attribute futuring report, innovation POCs, JDP/IQS leads etc. on a periodic basis,
- Support development of academia research for technology leads,
- Identify PDCA to steer technology ideation,
- Plan annual technology ideation cross-functionally in alignment to PDCA,
- Perform stage-wise reviews for idea selection and idea hopper finalization,
- Prepare platform-wise technology roadmap with 3 to 5 years horizon based on alignment with Product lines and Marketing,
- Prepare estimation of DMC and engineering D&D along with COCs and VIGs for selected technologies,
- Manage technology hopper database and tools for product configuratioPublish periodic reports and synopsis for annual technology planning,
- Manage risks and issues through periodic reviews and escalations with Head NTD,
- On time technology roadmap with product mapping,
- Percentage of customer centric technologies in the technology roadmap

2Technology budget management
- Control approved budgetary provisions for technology research

3Development & implementation of ERC Common technology planning process
- Develop process, method and tools development, change management through PDCA and roll-out through ERC NTD CFT,
- Support periodic lesson learnt workshops within ERC NTD CFT group,
- Conduct annual training and awareness for TML TCDS process
- Meet organization quality process expectations for PV NTD through effective mapping of new technology planning process,
- Develop requirements for online automation of PV NTD planning processes and planning tools
- On time process development
- Training coverage in PV Engg and CV & PSE NTD group
