Job description

• To support Process Technology & Development Manager by monitoring & controlling the manufacturing process & parameters, handling the laboratory, and issuing the recipe and std. process parameter sheet.

Analyze Process Parameters:

• Monitoring & analysis of process parameters
• Analysis of product quality and suggesting required changes
• Up keeping of process parameter database and maintaining Process parameter file.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Issuing of std. recipe and process parameter sheet for production.
• Approval of raw materials and mixed compounds
• Conducting raw material replacement trials as per procedure
• Conducting recipe change trials as per defined procedure.
• Managing the tooling required for manufacturing.
• Maintaining the calibration of testing equipments & Liaoning with suppliers
• Maintaining Process Technology database & parameter file
• Connecting with APAC and Global Process Technology team for new developments
• Supporting Product development dept by executing trials and adhering to the timelines for development.
• Supporting Quality function for improving process capability of the processes
• Adhering to the critical factors of the product and ensuring all parameters are in defined budgeted level.

Process Optimization

• Optimization of material usage by fine tuning the process.
• Reduction of product scrap % asper defined KPI through process optimization.
• Online trouble shooting and advising corrective and preventive actions.

Training & Development

• Training & Development of plant operators.
• To focus on development in the area of production process improvement and suggesting the preventive actions.
• To communicate effectively and assertively in order to avoid conflicts at work place.

Periodic Audits

• Conducting QMS & EMS Audits as per schedule
• Upkeeping department system manual & procedures
• Participating in monthly PPP audits and ensuring the PPP score 98%
• Ensuring all documents relevant to ISO/ FM audits are updated

WAM Implementation

• To learn, comply & contribute towards World Class Armacell Mindset system.
• To support inFocussed Improvement (FI ) pillar and contribute towards strenghthening of the same
• To ensure all relevant stage gates are followed in Early Product Management (EPM) Pillar

Professional Education

• Diploma/ B.E/ B. Tech (Chemistry/ Rubber/Polymer / Mechanical), Bsc with CIPET.

In which areas

• Rubber processing industry in Quality lab / technical department.

Other specific skills/ knowledge

• Knowledge of different chemical mix used in our process,
• Good communication skills, to be able to coordinate & manage with shift in charges and shift operating persons.
• Ability to analyze product quality and take corrective actions accordingly.
• Hands on computers operations for database management.
• Coordination skills

Language skills

• English, Hindi, Marathi or any other Indian Language
