Job Description
Level 1
- Eager to learn new age technologies (Routing and switching, BGP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS, VLAN, SDWAN, Security)
- Troubleshoot network issues (LAN & WAN) and provide corrective actions
- Knowledge in MPLS and VPN networks.
- Knowledge and working experience in CISCO L3 and L2 switches.
- Knowledge of Routing & Switching Protocol, Network Monitoring and remote management tool
- Working experience of NOC is highly appreciable.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office application
Responsibilities
- Must be willing to work in any shift in a 24x7x365 work environment
- Responsible for Alarm Monitoring and Proactive action on any network related issues
- Ensuring proper Shift Handover with all required documentation
- Responsible for maintaining the TroubleTicketing system that will track the fault resolution process from its initial detection to its final correction
- Monitoring network surveillance and quality alarms, recording problems by creating tickets using Remedy and take appropriate actions as per guidelines and standard operating procedures, which may include making test calls both manually and using automated system
Level 2
- In depth knowledge on various Network architecture.
- Knowledge and ability to identify the risk on the customer Network Security architecture &
suggest solution to identified risk according to the best practices
- Implementing Changes with respect to security architectural level modifications
- Good knowledge on authentication methods like radius & tacacs
- Prepare High level and low-level design documents based on customer requirements
- Sound knowledge and working experience in Data centre and Service Provider networking domain (having higher end Cisco (ASR9K/ASR Satellite/Nexus 9k/catalyst switches and etc).
- Working Experience in Layer 2 and 3 Switching& Routing Technologies, IP routing (BGP / OSPF) / MPLS / VPLS / ISIS/VRRP/L2VPN / L3VPN / MPLS-TE / Segment Routing/SNMP(v2/v3), etc
- Working Experience on Cisco IOS, IOS-XR (ASR9K)
- Good understanding of different Topologies in MPLS
- Good hands-on Experience MPLS domain.
- Good Experience in Spine-Leaf Topology and Cisco ACI/SDN.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and do the operation for the security appliances and application which include Firewall, IPS and their management box CSM and FMC respectively
- Policy creation and maintain as per network, client security policy requirement
- Traffic and logs monitoring to identify threat for malicious activities in security devices.
- To potentially work within the NOC to resolve incidents can or cannot be resolved remotely
- Service Provider Aggregation PE layer Design, Build, Test, Life Cycle management
- Validating of MOP and playing key role in execution of same.
- Responsible for Meeting KPI as per RFP
- Working with OEM to meet RFP/Customer Operational Requirements.
- Reviewing on AMC and License Quarterly Basis to Have Smooth Operations.
- Develop and maintain Engineering Architecture (Infrastructure Service SAD), Detailed Design, Configuration Guides (both NW and NSO Automation Templates), Limit Guides and Method of Procedure (MOP) Documentations
- Key in execution of Change Management Plan / Migration procedures
- Liaise with project stakeholders (Automation | Core | Aggregation | Access | Transmission | OSS | etc) various Enhancement and NW Resiliency programs
- Perform POC/ Development / Network and System Integration Testing
- Scrub Analysis on Defects and Bugs associated with Vendor Products and coordinate with TAC
- Coordination with CISCO TAC for Speedy issue Resolution.
- Handling of All IP Related issues across All domains.
Level 3
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any security clearances.
- Work as part of a collaborative team, able to perform independently when required to
complete assigned work.
- IT Infrastructure, Information Security, and Compliance Controls Including Routers & Switches (Cisco) Firewalls (Cisco ASA / Check Point), IDS/IPS, VPN, SIEMs, EDRs, Cisco ISE etc.
- Sound understanding of Application & Infrastructure Security
- Ability to identify, detect & mitigate known Threats / Malwares / IOCs / TTPs (MITRE / NIST Framework) OWASP Top 10.
- Experience in Vulnerability Assessment via Qualys or Manual
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Analysing detected security events
- Performing triage of potential security incidents
- Capable of executing work when under strict time constraints
Responsibilities

- Create/maintain position documentation and cross-train other team members
- Ensuring the antivirus in client systems are updated.
- Ensuring the operating system patches are updated.

- Involving External Auditor in finding gaps and taken up with Respecting teams to meet Compliance.
- Protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
- Test and evaluate new technology

- Document the security breaches and measure the damage caused
