Job description
? Assist in development of annual risk based audit plan detailing the scope, nature and
periodicity of the audits.
? Mentor the team of Auditors to achieve expected quality output.
? Manage the team of Auditors and ensure that the Audits are executed as per the Plan by all
the Auditors.
? Manage approved annual audit schedule and provide the periodic status reports of audits.
? Assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and
procedures through various audits.
? Review the reports prepared by the Auditors and ensure that the same are drafted in an
expected manner and appropriate recommendations are provided for the rectification of the
highlighted discrepancies.
? Ensure that the appropriate management comments with timelines is received in due time,
report is finalized and rated on the basis of defined rating methodology.
? Circulate final audit reports with the rating by keeping the senior management in loop.
? Ensure proper repository of working papers.
? Effectively and efficiently follow up for the closure of identified irregularities and timely issuance
of closure memos.
? Identify training requirement of audit staff and provide / arrange adequate training.
? Conduct any special assignments if required in consultation with Head of Internal Audit
? Maintain code of conduct and professional ethical standards ensuring that the internal audit
activities are carried out in compliance with all standard policies and procedures
? Maintain all accessed information about the branch / different departments / functions in HDBFS
under strict confidentiality.
? Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of internal audit in Financial Sector preferably
NBFC / Bank.
? CA and / or CIA / CISA
