Job Summary The Sr. DBA’s typical day will consist of 40% hands-on performance tuning in Oracle/SQL, 40% working with Oracle/SQL internals, 10% database backup/recovery efforts and 10% working on AWS
Duration: 6 months+, no tenure limits. Position should continue to extend based on need/performance. Others have been on the team for 3+ years Location: Preference is onsite 2X per week in Bangalore (Whitefield) Qualifications Seasoned Oracle DBA, 8+ years of experience Oracle RAC Goldengate SQL to Oracle, Or Oracle to Oracle, Or Oracle to Aurora, etc. Performance tuning and diagnostics Big data adapter Hands-on role, not leading Nice to haves AWS – RDS and EC2 Oracle and AWS Certifications Exadata SQL DBA experience (Using Goldengate to extract data) SQL Server experience Working with Operations Engineering and Architecture TeamsJob tags
