Job description

GenZ Marketing (FWD) & Influencer Marketing Lead

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote FWD (Myntra's GenZ Proposition), drive FWD awareness, and contribute to overall FWD business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee marketing campaigns, execute community building offline events and ensure consistent brand messaging across various channels.

Also, you will lead the development and execution of influencer marketing strategies to enhance Myntra's brand awareness, reach target audiences, and drive social engagement. You will build and maintain relationships with influencers & agencies, oversee campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to optimize influencer marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Marketing Strategy:
  • Implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, consideration & new user acquisition
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify relevant opportunities for growth
  • Influencer Strategy:
  • Implement influencer marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives and brand goals.
  • Identify key influencers and agencies based on brand fit, target audience, and campaign objectives.
  • Influencer Outreach and Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors.
  • Negotiate and manage influencer contracts, ensuring clear expectations and deliverables.
  • Liaise with legal, procurement & finance team on a regular basis for closure of contracts, onboarding requirements and payments to creators/ agencies
  • Launch & execute retention strategies for top performing creators
  • Campaign Management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling and consistent messaging and visuals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with category teams, pricing teams & central marketing & social media teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment of marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to execute marketing initiatives.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Develop & manage all digital marketing initiatives, R&F, social media and influencer marketing
    • Stay informed about digital marketing trends and leverage new opportunities for brand exposure.
  • Content Development:
    • Create and oversee the development of marketing collaterals, content, and promotional materials. Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
    • Work closely with influencers/ agencies to create authentic and compelling content that aligns with the brand's messaging, values and key goals.
    • Provide creative direction and support throughout the content creation process.
  • Campus, Community Engagement & Events:
    • Strategize and execute offline events to build engaged communities of brand fans, shoppers and creators
    • Plan and Execute strategies for growth for the campus & student program for Myntra
    • End to end management of on- app sale events & campaigns from a marketing perspective
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize analytics tools to measure campaign performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports on marketing KPIs and present findings to key stakeholders.
    • Regularly monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop & manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and media spends
    • Track expenses, analyze variances, and adjust strategies to meet budgetary goals.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor reportees, provide guidance, support, and foster a collaborative work environment.
    • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members are aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Compliance and Legal Considerations:
    • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to influencer marketing.
    • Ensure influencer partnerships adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Brand Marketing, Brand Communications, Influencer & Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven 8+ experience in brand management or related marketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, social media platforms, influencer trends, digital marketing and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools.
  • Proficiency in influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate unique and engaging campaign ideas.
  • Familiarity with legal considerations and compliance in influencer marketing.
