Job description
POSITION PURPOSE:
The position of Area Manager is to meet and interact with HCPs from Oncology / Uro Oncology. To ethical promote Specialty Medicine product in a compliant way in the assigned geographical area of (Area).
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To achieve sales, volume, growth, market share and listing targets for the assigned area by contributing area sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
To develop customer / product / therapy knowledge to implement the District business plan to achieve growth objectives in each assigned Area
Execute right frequency of multi-channel interactions for each customer, backed by rigorous action planning both pre and post interaction
Drive customer activity reporting in Veeva CRM and take advantage of all available functionality for enhancing customer interaction and experience
Build strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders in the territory to develop solutions that benefit patients, HCPs.
Meet area sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; optimizing expenditures
Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan in accordance of national objectives
Maintains/appoint and expand distributor base by proper justification of the area requirement; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities
Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks
Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Participate/ organize scientific events/ activities keep compliance in picture
WHO YOU ARE:
Science/ Pharmacy Graduate/ Post Graduate ,MBA will be preferred
3 5 years in Pharmaceutical Sales. 2-3 years promoting high value research molecule products from Oncology/ Uro Oncology background
Readiness to learn and adapt to Specialty Medicine product knowledge for all the three specialties i.e. Oncology Specialty and Uro Oncology
Good interpersonal skills
