YO HR Consultancy operates in the GIS industry providing comprehensive solutions in geospatial data analysis and research.
Role and Responsibilities:
The GIS Analyst will be responsible for conducting data research and analysis. This includes identifying candidate datasets based on specified requirements evaluating new data and thirdparty information establishing data quality and delivering timely accurate reports. Additionally the analyst will provide statistical and spatial analysis of datasets to understand their impact and act as an SME for new datasets offering advice to internal stakeholders.
Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should exhibit attention to detail possess an inquisitive nature and have at least 2 years of experience working in a data analysis role involving geospatial data. A practical experience of using GIS software such as QGIS and ETL software like FME is required. Furthermore familiarity with database technologies practical knowledge of Python and SQL as well as experience presenting analysis results using tools like PowerBi is essential. Additionally candidates should have practical experience with cloudbased data loading storage and datasets related to climate change.
