Job Overview NeXjob.in is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join our team in New Delhi, Delhi, India. As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in Linux system administration and possess a strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
Qualifications And Skills - 1-3 years of experience as a Linux system administrator
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Experience with Linux server installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Proficient in scripting languages like Bash or Python
- Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve server and software issues
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications like RHCSA or LPIC are a plus
Roles And Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating systems
- Monitor system performance and ensure server availability and security
- Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve server and software issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels
- Collaborate with the development team to deploy and maintain web applications
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users
- Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Linux system administration
