Role And Responsibilities The Officer/Executive - Safety will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring the implementation of the work permit system to maintain a safe working environment.
- Individually handling a shift as the shift safety in charge to oversee safety operations.
- Familiarizing with construction and fire safety measures at the site to prevent and address potential hazards.
- Conducting risk assessments using HAZOP tools for API processes to mitigate potential risks.
- Conducting periodic, refresh, and induction training sessions for various groups across the plant to ensure awareness of safety protocols.
- Continuous monitoring of unsafe and safe conditions to take necessary preventive measures.
- Applying strong knowledge of chemical compatibility, chemical storage, and UGT tank safety to prevent accidents and ensure safe handling of materials.
- Thoroughly investigating all near misses for root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Internal coordination for ISO 45001/14001 audit compliance and documentation processes.
Candidate Qualifications We are looking for candidates with a degree in safety management or a related field, along with relevant experience in safety operations within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
