Responsibilities:
Lead Cloud Implementation and Migration Projects:
- Take ownership of cloud implementation projects on AWS, overseeing the entire process from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to client operations.
- Provide technical leadership and support throughout the implementation and migration phases.
Develop Strong Customer Relationships:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact for technical issues and inquiries.
- Create and maintain technical project plans that outline tasks, delivery dates, and resource allocations in alignment with Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Proactively communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and provide timely updates on project progress.
Project Management and Execution:
- Plan, manage, and execute various cloud deployment and customization projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Own and manage technical project escalations, driving them to resolution while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.
- Coordinate with support teams and business units to schedule required outages for patching and infrastructure upgrades, minimizing impact on client operations.
Managed Service Operations and Optimization:
- Oversee day-to-day managed service cloud operations from the account perspective, monitoring performance and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Drive optimization initiatives to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of cloud infrastructure utilization, leveraging AWS tools and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in technical account management or similar customer-facing roles, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and solutions, with hands-on experience in cloud implementation, migration, and support.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are a plus.
