Duties & Responsibilities: - Read Welding procedures and understand welding process.
- Withdraw suitable welding consumables from stores as per WPS.
- Welding of pipes and structural items as per welding process specified in the WPS.
- Perform back gouging where applicable.
- Provide proper connections to welding machines, Holders, gauges, and tools.
- Safe handling of welding gases and tools/grinders.
- Grinding and cleaning/Dress up of the work pieces & welds
- Capable to use various welding gauges and measuring tapes/instruments.
- Ensure clean workplace and equipment.
- Maintain safety regulations and obey company safety rules
- Performs other duties as assigned.
