Job description
Solar resource assessment for new & existing sites, estimation of generation
Analyse the field measurement data of irradiance and weather at a site and build the correlation of the short
term weather behaviour and the long-term pattern
Utilize all necessary tools, database or field test data to confidently assess solar resource for a specific project site
Model a variety of PV systems including the ground mounted fixed tilt, seasonal tilt, the trackers, etc, in order to
accurately predict the energy production for different time scales
Analyse historic solar farm data to find opportunities for performance improvement.
Analyse operational data to verify actual plant output, availability, and performance ratio, and identify reasons
for variances.
Analyse historic maintenance data to optimise future maintenance strategies.
Building tools/systems to automate or improve the O&M reporting procedure.
Provide support to financial modelling, business decision-making and BOS selection
Interface with and manage external consultants.
