Job description
As a member of the Board development team, you will be working on challenging hardware development projects involving cutting-edge digital, analog and RF circuitry
Requirements
Experience in high speed digital / analog / RF board design, implementation, bring up, functional testing and debugging
Proficient in use of PCB design tools - OrCAD, Allegro / PADS / Xpedition
Experience in designing with one or more of high performance processors - PowerPC / Intel Core, x86 / ARM / MIPS, Network Processors, Switch Fabrics, FPGAs
Experience in designing with high speed ADCs, DACs, Signal conditioning circuits, high performance Micro-controllers
Familiarity with high speed memory / peripheral interconnects - DDR 2/3/4, Flash, SDIO, PCI, PCIe, USB 2/3, SPI, HDMI, DP, SATA, etc.
Familiarity with network interfaces - Ethernet / GPON / xDSL / WiFi / GSM / Bluetooth / Zigbee
Experience in designing for environmental compliance requirements EMI/EMC/ESD, Safety, Temperature, Vibration, etc.
Experience in generating PCB Layout guidelines and closely interfacing with PCB Design team
Experience in performing / overseeing PCB simulation using tools such as Hyperlynx, Xpedition, etc.
Very conversant with usage of hardware test equipment: High speed DSO, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzers, Traffic Generators, etc.
Familiarity in Quality Process and Configuration Management tools
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational, presentation and motivational skills
Desirable
Experience in interacting with mechanical engineering team for enclosure development and thermal design
Experience in pre-compliance testing for EMI/EMC/ESD, Temperature, Vibration, etc., at third party test labs
Familiarity with coding in C or Python
