Analyst, Impact Advisory (Pune)
The Analyst on RANNNITI’s Impact Advisory team contributes to client engagements and provides critical analytical, research, documentation and project management support focused on our corporate, major foundations, and NGO clients. In particular, the analyst will be a key contributor in delivering strong research and analysis for clients to drive collaborative and innovative approaches to sustainable development. They will also be involved in program development, program management, communications management, and monitoring and evaluation of client interventions. Candidates should have a deep passion for working at the intersection of global business and social development, and an interest in working with a collaborative, young and smart team. Ideal prior work experience is 0-1 years. Functional Responsibilities 1. Research, Analysis, and Client Delivery ● Provide high-quality research and analysis to drive development of client deliverables such as reports, case studies, concept notes, project plans, DPRs, presentations, databases, ideation notes, approach and methodology, project modalities etc. ● Conduct due diligence, secondary research and primary research to create deliverables as mentioned above with a sectoral focus like agriculture, WASH, women and child development, livelihoods, education and healthcare. ● Gather and synthesize publicly available information on sustainability performance of companies along with best practices and innovations of CSR arms of corporations, NGOs, NPOs and other non-profit organizations ● Support assessments, exploratory or descriptive research, thematic analysis, analysis writing, and other deliverable development as directed for clients ● Synthesize, communicate, or present complex topics for a variety of audiences ● Identify and engage internal and external experts to help deliver client engagements 2. Client Relationship Management ● Contribute to growing relationships with existing clients, supporting new areas of exploration within projects, identifying new areas of work, and achieving overall business growth ● Support drafting and reviewing proposals and scopes of work for new or existing clients 3. Project Management and Advisory ● Provide strategic project management support under the direction of a leader/supervisor, ensuring that key projects and engagements are delivered on time and within scope ● Manage outreach and interview schedules of key stakeholders for client projects ● Build workshops, interviews and FGDs focused on engaging in multi-stakeholder partnerships, or on new approaches to addressing project challenges in emerging markets ● Manage external consultants and subject matter experts Requisite Education and Experience · Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, sustainability, economics, international development, social sciences, law or related field. ·0 years to 1 year of progressively responsible experience, in one or more of the following: social impact, client management, project management, with a demonstrated interest in emerging geographies and/or the Sustainable Development Goals and/or Impact Advisory and/or non-profit management. ·0 years to 1 year experience creating and delivering reports or other knowledge products for clients and/or external stakeholders. · Strong research, communication, writing and analytical skills. Preferred Experience · Preliminary awareness of our primary areas of impact advisory : impact assessment, organization strategy and planning, capacity building, training, organizational development, process reengineering, business intelligence dashboarding, project management, monitoring and evaluation, outreach, partnership, affiliations, contract management and performance improvement · Proficiency in English, Hindi and/or Marathi Work Environment and Travel ● Location is based out of Koregaon Park, Pune, Maharashtra ● The role involves travelling to Mumbai / other locations in Maharashtra for 10% - 15% of the time ● This job operates in a professional office environment for 85% - 90% of the time ● Candidates currently based out of Pune / willing relocate to Pune will be shortlisted About RANNNITI RANNNITI is a boutique brand management and project management firm based out of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
