Job description
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Work across site organizations assisting and supporting security initiatives and objectives
2. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors throughout compliance
assessments.
3. Perform regular security related checks as required by compliance requirements and
report on the effectiveness of controls
4. Responsible for overseeing information security, cybersecurity and IT risk
management programs based on industry-accepted information security and risk
management frameworks
5. Develop and update security policies and procedures
6. Improve controls for internal security, processes, and policies.
7. Responsible for the following up required mitigation plans relating to information
security risk and policy exceptions.
8. Knowledge of Information Security controls, risk management frameworks
9. Knowledgeable in regulatory and industry standards such as PCI DSS, CIS Controls, NIST CSF
10. Understand technical implementation details necessary to assess general and
situational Information Security risk.
11. Design and deliver appropriate 'security awareness' training sessions for all staff
communicating security's importance as well as protecting people, assets, and
information
12. Knowledge of security best practices
