This role is for a substantial, fast-growing and well respected UK tech company who has hired us to exclusively recruit for them. It is a permanent Work From Home position and everyday you'll be working directly as part of their UK team. It is a senior role with real opportunities to learn and develop.

The business we are representing specializes in supply chain logistics and their mission/aim is to expand on their technology offering within their supply chain business. Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in India

Experience:

Shift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter)

Role and responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, maintain and execute automation scripts using tools agreed with the Senior Software Developers, Release Manager and Head of Technology.
2. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet business needs
3. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
4. Report issues/bugs found during testing process using tools agreed with Development Team
5. Involved in Software Development Life Cycle
6. Design, develop and maintain the automation testing framework with approval from the QA Automation Engineers, Senior Software Developers, Release Manager and Head of Technology.
7. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

Required skills and experience

1. Proven work experience automating tests in a web front end, C# and SQL server environment
2. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes and tools, specifically Cypress (minimum 2 years), Selenium can be substituted for Cypress but Cypress is far, far more preferential.
3. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
4. Knowledge about API testing techniques.

Desired skills and experience

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• BS/MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
