Job description
Key responsibilities:
As analyst you will support the financial management of the Changing Diabetes® in Children program. The programme is running in 33 countries, reaching more than 45,000 children and adolescents living with type 1 diabetes and is looking at further expansion in the coming years.
The role covers:
- Establish a scalable finance support model: With a growing project scope of up to 30 countries and many external partners across the globe, it is crucial that a strong finance governance is established. You will work on building processes to secure solid financial setups in the new countries covered by the CDiC expansion.
- Controlling and Finance partnering: You will be responsible for controlling the overall CDiC project budget – ensuring optimal budget resource allocation, and efficient execution in line with the CDiC strategy.
- Audit tasks: You will take an active role in following up on implementation of local audits performed by certified auditors in the respective countries. The role requires you to understand and challenge audit findings as well as the local follow up on findings - raising red flags if required.
- Business ethics: You will ensure that business ethics is ensured as a cross-cutting theme throughout the financial management of the programme.
- E2E ownership of Monthly Management report(MMR)
- E2E ownership of budget data administration in systems
- Supporting month-end activities and budget process
- Support the team with GFP upload, reconciliation and other activities related to budget
- Responsible for adhocs from DK and from GBS CSCA
- Brand P&L
- Support for AB/RE BRM document and presentation
- Preparation of SVP presentation for management meetings
Education:
- Master in Finance (or equivalent) from a well-recognised institute
- Good academic track record and grades
Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in relevant field (audit/compliance).
- Strong analytical skills, while good at keeping an eye for the overall purpose.
- Clear and precise communication skill-set with people at all levels in the organisation.
- Good collaboration skills.
- Experience on working with low and middle income countries is an advantage.
- Strong ethical compass and preferably experience from auditing or working with business ethics in large corporations or NGOs.
