Job Title: Head of School / Principal - International Baccalaureate (IB) Program
Location : Gurgaon, India Job Overview: The Head of School for the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Kunskapsskolan School Gurgaon will be responsible for providing visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational management for the IB school. This role requires a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in IB curriculum implementation, academic administration, and a strong commitment to fostering a holistic educational environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Vision: • Provide visionary leadership to create and articulate a compelling vision for the IB school. • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve educational excellence, student success, and continuous improvement. 2. Academic Excellence: • Oversee the effective implementation of the IB curriculum, ensuring alignment with IB standards and best practices. • Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning. 3. Staff Development and Management: • Recruit, develop, and retain qualified and motivated teaching and administrative staff. • Provide professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and ensure adherence to IB program requirements. 4. Stakeholder Engagement: • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, and the broader community. • Collaborate with the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and other stakeholders to enhance the overall school experience. 5. Financial and Operational Management: • Manage the financial and operational aspects of the school, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource allocation. • Implement and oversee policies and procedures to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment. 6. Regulatory Compliance: • Ensure compliance with local educational regulations and IB organization requirements. • Work closely with relevant authorities to stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the school. 7. Assessment and Evaluation: • Implement effective assessment and evaluation strategies to monitor student progress and ensure academic achievement. • Use data-driven insights to inform instructional practices and school improvement initiatives. 8. Community Outreach: • Represent the school in the local community and establish partnerships with external organizations to enhance the school's reputation and offerings.
