Education

• Chartered Accountant

Experience

• Should be at least 4 -5 years of meaningful work experience.
• Experience in MNC organizations preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• GST Monthly and Annual Compliances including Filing GST returns, preparing various reconciliations, and collating Export documentation.
• Analyze and review the sales and input data and ensure that accurate returns are filed with the appropriate jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with various internal customers to collate accurate tax documentation and resolve tax-related issues.
• Review and approve tax rates, validity of exemption certificates, statutory timeline on credit notes, etc;
• Prepare an appropriate draft response for review by the senior along with validated data and documentation for submission to tax authorities.
• Preparing tax reconciliations with books of accounts and statutory returns and ensuring the company is in full compliance with all relevant tax laws.
• Track and reduce tax exposure. Develop Processes around any tax leakage using PPI.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Experience in GST Compliance work
• Candidate has been involved in process improvement/ automation project
• Should have done ledger scrutiny reconciliation of tax returns/ forms to GL balances.
• SAP Experience is preferable.
• Proficient with Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal & written
