Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Rebar Detailer / Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5 – 10 years of expertise in civil engineering, with a focus on Industrial, Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, structural steel building projects. This position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Revit and AutoCAD proficiency are must
• Industrial projects experience is required.
• Produce accurate and detailed lists of materials for shop fabrication
• Prepare timely and accurate rebar placement drawings working in unison with experienced team members to ensure drawings are prepared according to industry and company standards
• Communicate directly with customers, engineers, architects, and internal staff on project details and answering questions on projects
• Coordinate and account for changes to scope of work; maintain accurate records for each job
• Ability to express ideas and thoughts both in written and verbal forms in a clear and respectful manner. Must be able to communicate to customers, architects, and engineers in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member to produce desired results
• Working knowledge of design software, internet software, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to read and interpret contract drawings
• Good working knowledge in producing error-free drawings is a must.
• Also, should be well versed in Rebar CAD and must be able to complete drawings and Schedule on time.
• Should self-check the drawing, and produce drawings with minimal errors.
Qualifications:
• 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in Rebar Detailing within the Industrial / Oil & Gas industry, Refineries, Petrochemicals.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good command on Autodesk Revit is must. (Hands-on Experience in Autodesk Revit)
Educational Qualifications:
• ITI Draughtsman – Civil, Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech – Civil Engineering
Software Requirements:
• AutoCAD / Revit / CADS – RC
