Position Overview:The Salesforce Engineer - Product Configuration will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions related to product configuration. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and other Salesforce engineers, to ensure the successful integration of product configuration capabilities within the Salesforce platform.Key Responsibilities:Product Configuration Development:- Design and implement solutions for product configuration within the Salesforce platform.- Develop custom code, configuration, and automation to enhance product configuration processes.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for product configuration.Salesforce Customization:- Customize Salesforce applications to meet specific business needs related to product configuration.- Implement and maintain custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.Integration and Data Management:- Integrate Salesforce with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow related to product configuration.- Manage and maintain data integrity through effective data modeling and architecture.Collaboration and Communication:- Work closely with business analysts and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.Documentation:- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all Salesforce configurations and customizations related to product configuration.Testing and Quality Assurance:- Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce configurations to ensure high-quality deliverables.- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve any issues.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Proven experience as a Salesforce Engineer with a focus on product configuration.- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certification is highly desirable.- Strong proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development.- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools.- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model and architecture.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
