Global service Operations, Quality& HSE Global Opeartion Model and Continous Improvement Service Lean Global

Vestas' Global Service business was spun out as a separate business unit during 2014 due to the growing commercial and strategic significance of the service business. With our corporate strategy 'Profitable Growth for Vestas' we have communicated specific, ambitious growth targets for service in coming three years. To achieve such targets while keeping our cost base steady requires a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally.

The Global Service Lean team is responsible for driving further our Service Business' continuous improvement and execution excellence culture. We drive the process for Strategy Deployment, work on establishing global concepts, and execute breakthrough improvements based on world class methodologies such as Lean Supply Chain, Lean and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • While having kept high Safety and Quality standards, you will engage with our Service sites of the countries and Region you support to implement our Service LEAN roadmap and support the sites to increase their LEAN maturity.
  • Facilitate kaizen events to drive improvements.
  • Reduce operational costs,
  • Facilitate share of Lean best practices within your region
  • Drive and support Service continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Academic degree Bachelor level or higher,
  • Minimum 5 years of continuous improvement experience and track record of success,
  • Experience with LEAN in a variety of environments (i.e. Operations, manufacturing and transactional.
  • Certification in Lean or Six sigma (i.e. Green belt, Black belt or any equivalent certifications

Competencies

  • Must possess influence and persuasiveness and have strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with change management and implementation
  • Experience driving improvements based on value stream and communicating the next step towards future state in a way that our technicians understand.
  • Superior implementation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to create impact, connect and manage the stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow up in different countries and with multi-cultural teams.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English.
