Title: Backend Automation Engineer 100% REMOTE

Job Description:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience developing and executing quality plans that span hardware, client software, big data and cloud services. Ability to work with hardware/software quality leads in Vancouver and Barcelona to define and develop comprehensive quality plans. Familiar with agile software development practices Able to develop and execute automated test scripts as required. Aggressive executer = move fast and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills

Deliverables

• Work with hardware/software quality leads in Vancouver and Offshore to define and develop comprehensive quality plans. • Develop and execute automated test scripts, including but not limited to, integration and functional testing. • Author technical documentation around test strategy and test cases • Monitor overall test execution and metrics to ensure proper coverage and code quality around unit, integration, and functional tests. • Investigate customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, test bugs, and create and manage bug reports. • Research test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
