Job description
The Kirloskar Archives are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Archivist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, preserving, and organising the companys historical records, documents, and artefacts. This role requires a keen understanding of archival principles, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure the proper documentation and preservation of the companys rich history.

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Archival Studies, Library Science, History, or a related field
Strong knowledge of archival principles, preservation techniques, and metadata standards.
Proficient in archival software and digital cataloguing tools.
Understanding of legal and ethical considerations related to archival practices.
Essential Experience:
8-15 years of experience with managing and working with archives
Proven experience in archival management, preferably in a corporate setting.
Prior experience in working in the arts and culture sector is preferred
