The Research Manager will work for Cedar Group based in the Mumbai office. The role involves leading Cedar-IBSi's shared research team (6-8 people) across areas of proposal development, market reports, project reports, marketing content, and other areas. Principal Accountabilities:

Cedar:

1. Spend 20-30% of your time managing the team to deliver Cedar Consulting proposals and market reports, with close coordination with Engagement Managers and Partners from the Consulting team.
2. Curate case studies, CedarViews and other research-based content for the marketing team's content needs.

IBS Intelligence:

1. In-depth ownership and management of IBSi's Market & Competitive Intelligence portal, IBSi Galaxy.
2. Develop a focused timeline and a research calendar based on identified requirements.
3. Review existing reports and recommend updates, and enhancements and outline research requirements for the same.
4. Deliver bespoke/custom research/consulting engagements for clients across a wide variety of consulting programs.
5. Work closely with the business development team to develop capability documents, IBSi Views, Approach Notes & proposals.
6. Ensure the quality of all internal and external research outputs. Ensuring clarity, structure, and consistency.
7. Active and effective team management of a shared pool of 6-8 analysts.

Qualifications and relevant experience:

• 8-12 years of proven experience as a research analyst, industry practitioner, or consultant in the technology and strategy arena;
• Proven track record and experience in managing teams
• Good understanding of the global and regional financial technology market- key trends, developments, and products
• Superior analytical and written and oral communication skills
• Ability to analyze, synthesize data & derive meaningful information.
• Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail with a professional approach and ability to work independently.
• Master's Degree or equivalent is a plus.
